Our promise

Every calculator and article on Morecalcs is written for a real person trying to answer a real question. We optimize for clarity first, brevity second, and search rankings third.

How we source formulas

Financial formulas come from standard finance textbooks (amortization, compound interest, ROI). Health formulas come from peer-reviewed clinical references (Mifflin-St Jeor, WHO BMI cutoffs, US Navy body-fat method). Unit conversions use official SI definitions. We link to sources where relevant.

Fact-checking

Formulas are cross-checked against at least two independent sources before shipping. Numeric results are validated against reference implementations (e.g. spreadsheets). Any change to a formula requires a new review.

How we write articles

Articles are drafted by subject-matter contributors, edited for clarity, and reviewed for accuracy. We avoid AI-generated word salad. Every article has a takeaway you can act on today.

Updates

Content is reviewed at least annually. When guidelines, tax rules, or best practices change (for example, updated BMI thresholds), we update the affected pages and note the change date.

Spotted an error? Email us via the contact page. We investigate every report and publish corrections transparently.

Advertising and independence

Ads on Morecalcs are served by third-party networks. No advertiser has any influence over our content, our recommendations, or our formulas. We do not accept paid product placements inside calculators or articles.
